Mallow remain in joint top

Mallow maintains their push for promotion after defeating Shandon 40-5. Sam Holt two, Liam Kelleher, Denis Murphy, Brian Morris and Eoghan Glynn were Mallow’s try scorers and Morris kicked five conversions. Owen Murnane replied with a try for Shandon.

Mallow were unlucky not to gain something from this game, countless scoring opportunities were wasted and a strong Ballincollig defense frustrated Mallow. Much valuable experience will have been gained though as Mallow 2nd XV now look forward to the Cup competition.
