Kinsale 12 - Mallow 29

Mallow easily overcame the challenge of Kinsale in the first round of the Cork County Cup on Sunday 25th March. Tries from Neil McSherry, Pa Griffin, Kevin Twomey , Michael O'Connor and Cliff Cahill secured the victory. Andrew Cashman kicked two conversions. Kinsale to their credit battled hard through out the game and were rewarded with a try in the first half and a converted try in the second half. Final score Kinsale 12 – Mallow 29. Mallow now look forward to the quarter final that may take place in two weeks time.
